Visionary Home Builders of California, Inc. (VHB) stands with the peaceful protestors who are advocating to end police brutality. We all must condemn racial injustice and prejudice wherever we encounter it: in our society, in our fair housing industry, and in ourselves. We mourn the senseless killing of George Floyd, and others, and we stand against the bigotry that has plagued our country. Black Lives Matter. Discrimination needs to end at all levels – communities cannot tolerate injustice and the lack of policies that, if addressed, could begin the process of making positive change and healing.
Visionary Home Builders has stood for 35 years, beginning at a time when organizers in the Farm Worker community fought for housing that they deserved – with goals and dreams of pursuing the American Dream of homeownership. Housing is Justice – and everyone deserves fair housing. Until the basic needs of better housing, better job conditions, and better education are met, change cannot happen.
