Visionary Home Builders of California, Inc. (VHB) is excited to announce the promotion of two board members to officer roles on its board of directors and the re-election of its chair, Lisa Blanco Jimenez. Shannon Hurles will now serve as vice-chair and Eddie Lira will fill the role as secretary/treasurer. Jose Rodriquez, who served as secretary/treasurer, will remain as a board member.
As board chair, Lisa Blanco Jimenez leads Visionary’s board meetings with our President and CEO to support the mission and vision of our nonprofit organization. She is a shareholder and principal attorney at Neumiller & Beardslee and the chair of the firm’s Employment Law Group. Ms. Jimenez represents individuals, private businesses, and public agencies in employment, commercial, real estate and personal injury litigation from initial intake through trial in State and Federal courts and before administrative boards.
As vice chair, Shannon Hurles is committing to supporting the chair. As the CEO of Builders’ Exchange of San Joaquin, she ensures a high level of organization management and staffing while working to expand membership education and new member development. She has served as president of J.R.H. General Engineering, where she handled all management duties.
Stepping in as treasury/secretary, Eddie Lira will be the official keeper of board records and will be responsible for the execution of various corporate documents. He joined BAC Community Bank in 2021 and has over 15 years of commercial banking experience.
Carol Ornelas, CEO, stated, “We are fortunate to have such a diverse group of Board members who have both the expertise and the desire to help us achieve our ambitious goal of providing quality affordable housing within the communities we serve.”
